What helps you cope?

Is there something that helps you cope with your ovarian cancer, treatment, or side effects?

  1. Keeping busy with activities such as volunteer work at church; belief in prayer; playing cards with friends, etc. In other words staying busy and trying not to dwell on medical issues. But, when I receive a good report things certainly improve.

  2. My hobby of quilting helps keep me focused on the project and not dwell on the cancer.

    1. Meditation and easy forms of exercise such as bike riding, walking, swimming and racquet sports.
